Download any of these Excel Spreadsheets
that demonstrate the power of the AACode SuperTable® Add-in. All of these Spreadsheets require the
installation of the AACode SuperTable® Add-in to function correctly. To download a selected
Excel file, "Click" on the item's Hyperlink. Save the
file to a convenient location on your computer. Open the file with
your Excel Program.
The Spreadsheets offered are:
-
Download alt.xls (44K). This
program calculates the pressure in psia (pounds per inch squared absolute) for any entered altitude from
minus 1000 to plus 60000 feet utilizing a 7th order polynomial equation
automatically derived using VPolyFitCoef. This
program provides an example of the use of the AACode SuperTable® Macro "VPolyFitCoef"
using US Standard
Atmosphere 1976 Data.
-
Download CGrade2.xls (34K). This
program utilizes the AACode SuperTable® function “VInterp” to
provide a convenient method for grading students in any class size.
The program automatically assigns letter grades based on student
test performance on up to seven tests. The program also provides for
adjustable weighting for each test and allows the teacher to assign
letter grade breakpoints by test.
-
Download ref1.xls (34K). This
program calculates the cooling capacity of a group of air cooled,
refrigeration system condensing units in Btu/hr (British thermal
units per hour) for any temperature between -40 F and 0 F given five
manufacturers' measured data points. The techniques presented
are useful in calculating intermediate performance of almost any
process where the manufacturers' or measured data follows a well
behaved pattern. This program provides an example of the use of the AACode SuperTable®
functions “VInterp” and HSpline as well as an example of the use of
the AACode SuperTable® Macro "HPolyFitCoef."
-
Download CPrice1.xls (47K). This
program generates a best fit regression formula that approximately
predicts cost at any production volume. Similarly, with
discrete point sales price versus quantity sold information, this
program generates a best fit regression formula that approximately
predicts price at any sales volume. Finally the program illustrates the use of
the Excel Solver Add-in to match the two derived regression
functions so that the optimum Production Volume and Sales Volume
required for a desired profit can be computed. The
program demonstrates the use of the AACode
SuperTable® Macro "VRegressCoef."
-
Download rtd4p3.xls (113K). This program illustrates the precision
correction of an R 0.00385 Curve, 100 Ohm, Platinum Resistance
Temperature Sensor furnished with 3-Point calibration data using the Callendar-Van Dusen Calculation and the
AACode SuperTable® Vspine function. This program can be adapted to other RTD Sensor Curves by
substituting the appropriate Callendar-Van Dusen factors. The
techniques presented can be used with many types of process sensors.
-
Download rtd4p5.xls (115 K). This
program is similar to the program rtd4p3.xls offered above, except
it illustrates the precision correction of an R 0.00385 Curve, 100
Ohm, Platinum Resistance Temperature Sensor furnished with 5-Point
calibration data using the Callendar-Van Dusen Calculation and the
AACode SuperTable® Vspine function.
